The topic for today is : "Should artist go public about their love relationship?" (in Korean context)

My opinion: "I think artist,especially idols,should tell the public if they are in a relationship.Ya the fans will be heartbroken and might not support them anymore and all.But isn't that better than not telling them?By not telling them,they are deceiving the fans.You know how fans love their idols like how they love their boyfriend.In fact some even take it as if the idols are their boyfriend.So by not telling them that they are in a relationship,isn't that the same as them 'cheating' on the fans?

How will you feel if you find out that your boyfriend/girlfriend has been cheating on you behind your back and in fact has another girlfriend/boyfriend?Heartbroken,angry,sad,disappointed,deceived,cheated,lied.That's exactly how a fan would feel.In the early stage they might not support the idols anymore.But at least if the idol told them earlier,they wouldn't feel betrayed/deceived as much as if the idol didn't tell them and suddenly after a long time,the news is out.

Ya it's true that idols need privacy and all.But they should have known that by being and artist,there is no such word as privacy,full stop.They are a public figure.You see the word public?Yeah no private.So they should be prepared of what has yet to come.But yeah i'm not an artist so i wouldn't know how they feel.Unless they are good enough to keep their private life a secret,they might as well don't fall in love. :)

One of the Korean artist is against the idea of artist going public about their love relationship.Her reason being if the artist told the public,then the couple's problem will be everyone's problem.Here's the thing,it only becomes everyone's problem because either they care for you or they hate you.In any case,it will benefit the artist.They will have more opinions and support from other people.In an artist point of view,they will gain more attention won't they?So what's the problem.Fine the argument here is that the artist will have no privacy.Then hey,the solution here is that,why not just tell the public all the good things.If you argue with your boyfriend/girlfriend,don't tell the media.Solve the problems.If it can't be solved,then tell the media when you already decided to break up. :)

But whatever it is,it's the artist choice to tell the world or not.In any way,they will be responsible for their decisions.I'm just stating my 50 cents opinion.Hehe."
